Road Construction - I-10 West At Sabine River

Just a heads up for anyone who is going to be traveling I-10 west from Louisiana to Texas. They're doing road construction at the Sabine River and it took us two hours to get from Vinton to the river yesterday evening. We knew it was going to be backed up, but we were thinking maybe about an hour delay. WRONG .

Guy that works with me got stuck Thursday morning for 6 hours. It's ridiculous the amount of work/wrecks happening right there everyday. We came back from Laffy yesterday and saw the 2 hour delay on maps so we took 12 and it was bumper to bumper but we stayed moving the whole time.

We were stuck in that for 3 hours yesterday. Amd hit it bad in a few other spots. Turned our normally 9 hour trip from Venice into 16 hours. Luckily the kids were in the backseat fighting and griping the whole time…

Took me close to six hours to get home from Lafayette last night. That trip typically takes four hours.
