No need to argue, plenty of success on the field.... Unlike many others whom have fielded teams for nearly 100 years. The Trojans had an epic run in the 70's, (6 Titles)! They won '70-'74, (Texas '75), and again '78.

LSU and Texas are the two most storied programs outside of USC. As for Omaha, Texas won the first series ever hosted in Omaha back in 1950. Just feels like home.

Texas is also the second most winning program in the NCAA with well over 3500 wins. Fordham tops that list, unlike most (they have had a baseball program for over 160 seasons).

"The Longhorns have won six NCAA baseball national championships (1949, 1950, 1975, 1983, 2002, 2005)—tied with LSU and second to Southern California's total of 12—and have been the runner-up in the College World Series (CWS) Championship Games on six other occasions (1953, 1984, 1985, 1989, 2004, 2009). Texas holds the records for most appearances in the College World Series (36), most individual CWS games won (85), most overall NCAA Tournament games won (243), and most NCAA Tournament appearances (60); the second-place programs in these categories have 25 CWS appearances (Miami), wins in 74 CWS games (Southern California), 199 overall NCAA Tournament wins (Florida State), and 58 NCAA Tournament appearances (Florida State)."

Hopefully, Texas can add to the resume this post season. Next up, South Florida for a Super.

It is a shame they have not found the right guy or care enough about the program to get them back to being great.

It’s almost as if they quit trying.

Don't forget Florida State. Founded in 1948!

No doubt, who wouldn't want to play baseball in that weather!

This is similar to the constant we’re a Blue Blood chant we’ve heard countless times. 😂🤣😂🤣

What would you consider the program?

                        I'm not seeing the similarities.

Who doesn't consider USC a blue blood? The **** you fling at the board never makes much sense. USC is the all time leader in NATIONAL TITLES. They are a blue blood in baseball and football (although, this is not about football).

Considering the 2019 season, you may be right.
