Simple game cam tree mount

Had this idea a few hours ago. 7" piece of 1X.125" flat bar. I cut 2 notches with a disc, broke out the center and bent the tabs in. One screw to hold it on. The upper nut will be replaced by a wing nut.

Good idea and that thickness yo can bend to true up if tree is not straight

I did something similar but with a coarse threaded eye bolt and another eye bolt going to the camera so I can angle as needed.

That was my plan when I made the horizontal piece a little longer. It not to easy but I did bend it with the camera off the mount. I would probably have broken the camera if I tried with it on.
