Freihiet has the best burger in town, Las Fontanas for mexican food, La Cosecha for high end mexican, macadoos probably best food in town overall, NY pizza pub or Callaghans for pizza, Mozies in gruene is the best thing around there, Gruene River Grill and Gristmill are just ok. Buttermilk Cafe or Fork and Spoon for breakfast, Los Guillos or Herberts if you want mexican breakfast

Balsamic Ribeye, one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. They have a great menu for all ages.

Gruene River Grille, get the balsamic ribeye, you are welcome.

There’s a cool fly shop in Gruene as well.

Went here tonight and had this steak, not impressed. The ribeye at Gristmill was significantly better, highly recommend that over the Balsamic ribeye.
