Hey tribe -
So, question for those of y'all that are more familiar with the native Texan trees available in the northern part of the state. I'm wondering what (common) trees are good for building in applications that need water tolerance - boat trim, shower benches, outdoor furniture - basically teak alternatives. I know osage is one. Others for suggestion?
Second question; how do you go about curing cut wood, assuming you can find some. I've only ever been responsible for sectioning and felling, not keeping wood that's on the ground. Anyone have tips?
Thanks,
LaS.
