A restaurant near me does cornmeal fried okra in Salt and Pepper style like SP Shrimp, SP Wings , etc.

It is a very good version of okra fried with cornmeal.

Fried okra is evidence that God truly does exist!

I like it lightly breaded--in flour only--and fried until brown; crispy but not crunchy, generously salted immediately after coming out of the hot oil. In fact, it's on the meal plan for tonight!
