Merry Christmas from Montana to all my friends in Texas I’ve met, and those who I hope to meet one day!
Let’s see your Christmas trees as they get decorated.
I’ll start- after seeing how expensive they are on lots, one benefit of living in Montana is the huge amount of public land. For $5 we got a BLM permit and during elk season found an area with nice trees. Due to the snow and drifts we took the Pioneer 500 (and the yellow lab), cut down an 11 footer, put it on a piece of Tyvek, tied on a rope and slid it back over the snow 3 miles to the trailer. Our house is on the other side of the valley.
Here’s the ‘before’. After picture to follow.
