No Brow Tines

All you guys saying no brows one year but then they have them the next.... Do you mean no brows, as in slick or just tiny brows?

We've had a few 6 pointers with no brows that I watched for 2-3 years and they never grew any. They were true slick/no brows though.

We also have some with tiny brows but haven't had the chance to watch how they grow.

Anything under 8pts normally gets put on the hit list at our place once they get 2.5yo+
Most the ones we've seen that are slick with no brows dont usually get them so they are put on the hit list at 2.5yo+
They might grow them in the future but we'd rather take a bet on the other young 8 and 10pts and let the available resources be focused towards them.
This is mainly because we are MLD and dont have enough trophy bucks to fill buck tags so the majority taken are those seen as having less potential, of course a bunch still make it since we only bow hunt

have a few slick out there this year, but honestly those bucks never had great ones to begin with .

we also have a lot of deer that went from 10's to 8's. one that went from a 11 to a 9, 11's to 10's... lost of lost inches with the drought this year. I don't see why brow tines would be some sacred point that could "never" change.
