    Washing Machine/Appliance parts gurus--Help Please

Long story short, my dad has been in and out of the hospital and has been in the last 10 days or so. My mom finally went home last night to get a break and said the washing machine was almost overflowing. I went over and it has a drip every couple seconds. Machine is only 2-3 years old. I took a picture of the model number and thought finding a part would be a breeze. I did not take it apart to visualize what the inlet valve looked like. Apparently my Googler skills aren't up to par either.

If anyone has the knowledge/ability to confirm the proper replacement part for the water inlet valve I would certainly appreciate it. My attempt revealed conflicting information.

    GE GTWS8655DOMC (top load)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks much.

I bought one for our machine on amazon. GE will have a parts finder page as well.

It would help to know where it was dripping from. Inside or outside. And your right the diagrams are almost useless.

Thanks. It is dripping right in the center of the back above the drum. It is the water inlet valve. The diagrams are pitiful and think it shows more under the part number than what I need. Figured there may be a GE repairman on here. I would prefer to just order the part and not have to take everything apart to visualize and then put back together in case my mom wants to do laundry in the meantime.

Maybe diagram number 805 on this first sight. Part number WH13X10059

            https://www.geapplianceparts.com/sto...OP_PANEL_&_LID

The next link shows the same part as above link. Looks the same.

            https://www.genuinereplacementparts....ve-genuine-oem

Backing up a page on the first link above gives diagrams to the entire nomenclature of that washing machine model number. Reference some of the external diagram parts and see if they are identical to the parts you can see on the washing machine. Scroll to the bottom.

Thanks much! I saw the same and then another site showed a smaller part without all the solenoid/plug ins. Guess I will order this and give it a whirl (literally a whirl). Thanks again.
