I guess the chasing phase of the rut is in full swing now as pics at my feeders have dropped to nil since Friday. I know the acorns are thick but before the storms Friday they were hammering corn. The next couple of weeks oughta be eventful.

Yeah technically I could because our property is literally almost split in half by the county line lol. So I hunt Sabine County and San Augustine county both with about 280 acres on both sides lol

Same here. My ground was covered up almost every step I was crunching acorns. I have corn piling up. Had a big group

Was Lucky and this mature buck chased in a young doe. After a long standoff of doe stomping, he walks out enough for the shot at 28 yards. I could not be more thrilled.

No deer eating any hand corn at our place, just lucky rut activity is the only way right now, which was extremely limited on our place. This was the only buck I saw all weekend and what a lucky one to see.

Seen a lone doe cut from the herd in feed route this morning. She was waaayyy out of place. Never could find buck but I’ll guarantee one was in tow
