Looks like they messed up the cape and then made it worse.

I watched the video of one being done. It was a real flag under the cape while it was wet. They cut pieces of the cape away to reveal the flag then glued the edges down.

I think it’s cool to change things up but I don’t know that I like that particular change lol. It does make me happy some taxis are pushing the boundaries though.

I wouldn't ever do it.... But I'd bet this was probably developed as a taxidermists solution for all of the deer they get with short/damaged capes.
