Prayer Request For David Barclay ( GarGuys Dad)
As some of you know Mr. David Barclay will have surgery today to remove some cancer on or in his ear. It could take up to 12 hours Steve just told me so we should be in continuous prayer for success and speedy recovery. Steve still can’t log on because of the glitch that started with so many phones on Sunday.
The good news is I was just told that it might not be as bad as expected. The circle of prayer that was given to him on Saturday definately put Gods healing hand in motion. And we are all so glad that we were able to celebrate his birthday on Saturday befor this event. His 86th birthday is actually today. I will update as I get the info and those that Steve is communicating with please do the same. I will be away for most of the day. |

Terry, thank you for starting this thread! I've been in the dentist office all morning, so just now getting to a computer where I could check on things.
Mr. David is in good hands and as you reported, the Lord is also doing a mighty work in him already! Lord, You know this man's heart and how hard he works for Your kingdom here. We ask You Lord to guide his care team to complete the healing You have begun in him. Guide them to every single bad cell that needs to be removed from his body and give them the knowledge, skill and wisdom to get every one out and cast it aside. Lord guide the restoration process for Mr. David and restore him. He has so much work yet to do here. Lord give him strength to fight through this trial and Lord, strengthen our brother Steve as he leads his family through this trying time. Give them all comfort in the promise of Your Son that allows us to be cleansed that you may draw us near. Keep their eyes clearly focused on You Lord and the Hope that is in Your Son. Fill their every need until Mr. David is back home and healed with his strength returned. We ask these things in Jesus name, Amen! |

GREAT NEWS!!!
Just got an update from Steve! Tumor had shrunk so it was not as involved as was first believed. Got clear margins and "got it all"!! Plastic surgeon is closing now... Couple more hours and he will be in recovery!! Praise Jesus and Steve sends his thanks for all the prayers and well wishes... More later! |

He’s out of surgery and awake‼️
With his past history there is some concern with his heart rhythm so he’s in the cardiac ICU for now. Doc said he did well and is pleased. Let’s pray for an uneventful short stay in the ICU and he recovers soon and gets to go home quickly. Father thank You for bringing Mr. David through this surgery safely. Strengthen his heart and speed him along to a full recovery. Continue Your work in him and comfort the family. In Jesus name, Amen. |
