Fresh shucked oysters....in or around Houston??

I'm needing a gallon of fresh oysters to take down to my landowner. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to buy some in or around Houston?

Rose's Seafood on 11th in Seabrook. Stay far the F away from Kemah if possible.

Sorry but technically it's Seabrook. Other side of the bridge.

That is what I recommend. Not sure what is on your side of town

There was a TBHer on here recently talking about farming oysters again finally. might try some searches on here. Might get the "TBH Discount!"

Oh yes technicalities, how silly of me. I wouldn't think OP would've went to the restaurants looking for oysters, I give him more credit than that, but hey what do I know.

Riverside seafood in Liberty has them at the market.

Hillman's or Gastian's, both in Dickinson. You might try Boyd's in Texas City too. I would get on the phone and make a few calls.

I have a contact if you want them in the shell by the sack! Lots of work though but they are old school sacks of good size oyster!

Was at Rose's today. 1 gallon was 46.99. Was 4 pounds of fresh oyster yumminess.
