    A DUI or DWI? Those are VERY different in Texas. How old were you and which specific charge was it?

        That's a class c misdemeanor, same as a ticket..

        You are free to apply with any pd. The 10 year rule only applies for class b misdemeanor convictions.

          It may be a disqualifier in some agencies, but in Austin it’s only for 5 years from conviction.
