It’s gonna be hard to beat the Air Venturi Avenger for an entry level good value PCP

Benjamin Marauder .22 should do a fantastic job for what you need.

Kyle, just depends on what you want to spend when you say good...
You talkin' $200.00 good, or you talkin' $2,000.00 good??

If I were to buy a new one, this is what it would be:
The FX Impact is such a phenomenon and has permanently pushed forward the boundaries of what to expect from an air rifle.

Here's where I'd buy it and it's in stock too...

Now if you are talkin' a good shooter that won't break the bank, the Benjamin Marauder will fit that bill nicely. It is probably the most popular PCP airgun in America... There are whole forums dedicated just to customizing, tuning and messin' with them in general...

If you want to look into those, here's where I'd likely buy it:

This is the model with an upgraded barrel... It'll knock a turtle head right off in 22 cal at 50 yards and beyond...
The synthetic stock Benjamin Marauder with adjustable comb will give you more shots per fill and reversible bolt for right- or left-handed shooters.

I'm a bullpup fan myself. I have an AGT Vulcan, a couple Kalibrgun Crickets and they are all tack-drivers... Longest turtle shot to date is 139 yards on video... smacked him right in the head sittin' on a log in a pond...

I warn you right now!! These dang PCP airguns are more addicting than Black Guns ever were!! There's no end to tweaks, mods, tuning and just plain out fun to shoot. With the right LDC, they are completely silent too yet very deadly.

Well if he were shootin' gators instead of red-ear turtles, that might be OK...
Kind of over-kill and a big pricey on ammo at least...

Would you go with the .22 over the .25 on the FX?

Check out this great deal on the Hatsan BullBoss, Wood. Need advice? Let our airgun specialists help you today!

i was looking at this one and the marauder i like the bull pup they just look way cooler.
i gave a air force texan .45 cal with the suppressor and i also already have the yong heng compressor.
                    Charlie,
i just don’t think i can bring myself to spend 2500 on a pellet gun lol but i might go 700-800 lol.

I have a marauder in 25 cal. It’s a tack driver out to 40-50yds. Haven’t shot it much past that. Would easily take care of turtles. 22cal might be a little better suited for turtles, but the 25 will take out raccoons and other larger critters.
