Not the best picture, but what do yall think? Ive killed half a dozen of these in and around the house this spring. Several of them definitely had the fiddle shape on their back, and found a quick death. This one Im not so sure, but it still got the disposal treatment...

You need some Demon if you've already killed a half dozen of those.

Here is another picture without the flash. I wasn’t gonna stick my head in the sink to try and see the fiddle. It definitely had the shape and legs that looked like a BR, but the fiddle wasn’t obvious.

Looks like a southern house spider. BR and SHS are really close but the spots on the legs makes me think it’s not a br

Be sure and check your winter clothes before putting them back on this season. Or bed sheets that haven’t been used in a while. I was bitten on the elbow by one in 1980. Didn’t know it at the time so like most guys I looked at and said “must have been a spider bite” and went on to work. Very bad move on my part. Third day I went to the doctor who sent me to a surgeon that was actually writing a book on brown recluse spider bites. By day five I was in surgery having rotten tissue removed from my elbow.
I had my are in a heating pad with hot water circulating through it for a week then skin graft surgery. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine!

Check the eyes. BR has only 6 arranged in 3 pairs. Most spiders have 8.
