    Deer Shoulder in the Crockpot

Hello y'all!! This was my first rodeo at cooking a deer shoulder. Needless to say, my friends didn't leave too many leftovers!!

    Here it is!

    1 deer shoulder deboned
    1 large onion
    3 carrots
    8 potatoes

    Seasoning:
    Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning
    Salt
    Pepper

    1 Cup Water

Above is dependent on number of people serving.

I served 7 people easily with little leftovers. Be ready for seconds!!

    1) debone deer shoulder
    2) thaw & place in crockpot
    3) Wash potatoes, onions, and carrots
    4) Peel potatoes & dice
    5) Peel carrots & slice into 2" pieces
    6) Slice onion vertically into four shells
    7) place all veggies in crockpot
    8) add 1 Cup Water
    9) Set on low 8 hours
    10)Set on high 5 hours

    11) Sit back & relax

    12) Time's up-----> remove from crockpot...
    13) ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
