If by travel you mean back and forth to the lease then I really prefer the Plano storage lockers. I can keep my gear packed and ready all year and they are weather proof and keep the dust out so no worries if I hit any rain

I started doing this with rubbermaid totes this year. Should've been doing this years ago.

I used to do the Plano and rubbermade totes. They definitely get the job done. Over the past 7-8 years I decided to switch over to waterproof duffle bags. I like the big duffles with shoulder straps. Current favorite is the Kuiu bag.

Looking at having a custom bag made by a friend of mine. Hopefully utilizing back hides from some animals I’ve killed. Will not be a hunting bag though

Try some Vaseline on the zipper, that comes with the cooler anyway and it helps some.
