If it was in Fayetteville and they went absolutely nuts like they did for Texas I'd bet on Arkansas.

It’s hard to beat anybody 10 years in a row. This may be the year things fall in line for Arkansas to stop the domination the Ags have had on them.

I hope Calzada can play better but he lacks accuracy and stares down his receivers. He is prone in limited sample size over last few years to force the ball. Arkansas is going to be a dog fight in a couple of weeks. Every game is going to be a dog fight. I hope that he looks accurate and makes quick decisions against New Mexico. The oline needs to keep improving and still can have a good season. Hoping for a NY6 bowl at this point.

you don't think a raucous road atmosphere is a bit tougher than a nuetral site game? It is. Odds makers agree and give 3 points to the home team.

It was good to step away last week. I am ready to go back to football though.

Casey Thompson is saying all the right things today and seems very excited about his opportunity vs Rice. I am looking forward to my first game in DKR in two years. I don't care who the game is against, I am pumped to get back in the stadium.

Tech @ UT on the 25th gonna be interesting. Didnt realize it was this early in season. Tech handed the game to them last second last year. It appears not much has changed for either team. Curious what the line will be for this pillow fight lol.

true enough, and not making excuses, but that environment was hostile. blocking schemes were blown, and its pretty tough to find a young qb that would change the outcome, esp in his debut.

im going to be really disgusted if i see cord in the portal. i feel like if cord came on in relief, the reverse discussion would be taking place.

I’m not worried about Arkansas. Can they keep us from going 10-0 since joining the SEC? Sure they can. But until further notice we should win that game. Our defense will give them fits. We make just enough plays to win a close game. We should be 5-0 going into the Bama game. More depth (2 starters) returning to the defense this week. They know what they have to do now. It’s on. Wrecking Crew is back. LFG!

He flat out missed enough wide open guys to change the outcome of that game. Can't do that on the road. Gotta hit the ones that are there, and help your defense out a little.

LSU vs Central Michigan, who will look much better than their ranking...then its LSU on the SEC road to hopefully a winning record. SEC is littered with top 25 teams and LSU plays all of them. Optimistically, they crawl back into the top 25.

Go Tigers.

Now that I have had time to digest the Arkansas game, I think it was a combination of several factors. First of all, I do not want to take anything way from Arkansas. They had a great plan and whooped Texas up and down the field.

Texas ran into a powder keg at Arkansas. It was their first sell out since 2017 and was one of the most anticipated games in a long time according to the Arkansas fans. Arkansas has two great coordinators in Kendall Briles and Barry Odom (I wanted Texas to hire him). They both had great game plans and Texas got outcoached like crazy. Texas got shook early and never had a chance to get into the game. I do not think Arkansas will be able to match that intensity and match that performance throughout the year.

Texas will have to find ways to block before anything really changes. The QB change is acceptable... Card plays with the mindset of being afraid. Thompson makes a decision and goes with it, Card has been hesitant. The defense is fine... hard to not get worn out when the offense can't stay on the field.

TOP was 2 min different. D doesnt get to use that as an excuse, bc they could have gotten more 3 and outs (if they even got 1) to give the O more chances. They didnt and gave up 40. The qb situation is ****ed, bc casey is an INT waiting to happen, and in a close game, we lose. I can be ok with the Sark decision if he he does same to o and d lines. And make it a big deal llike the qb decision.

go back to around 14 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. heres how i see it. see what you think...

i see card under pressure from A THREE MAN RUSH, on the move, eyes downfield, finding an open whittington in the end zone, hitting him, for the would be 7-3 texas lead, and the ball dropped.

then there is a missed field goal for the would be tie game. some minutes later, i see a punter drop a near perfect snap....as a freshman hog kicker goes 3-3 on field goals in the 1st half.

i see bj foster swing momentum with a circus like int, that is followed up by a card led t.d. and that was followed up with the hogs hitting a 40-ish yard pass, and a 25-ish yard run, ending with a td. 23-7 hogs.

i see a game that is over at 8-9 minutes left in the 3rd.
