Man I guess it’s nostalgia for me , but we’ve always gone cheap (be necessity growing up) at the lease. But it’s just what I enjoy now.

        Frito pie
        Chili
        Rollover sandwiches
        Eggs and sausage / bacon
        Dirty rice.
        Etouffe
        Chili cheese dogs
        BIG RED SODA!

Been a while since I did this , we would usually grill up some steaks and burgers . Fixins for the burgers also made a decent salad.

Baked taters in campfire coals. Usually did eggs & sausage for breakfast with coffee made on the campfire grill.

the usual stuff ... steaks and/or burgers on the fire grill.
The last time out we tried baking some whole sweet potatoes in the coals, WOW, they were amazing!
Breakfast is usually eggs, toast, bacon on the fire, coffee in the percolator.

Menu doesn’t change from home for me just the method. cooking over a fire outside or if it’s cold, over our old wood stove.

For backcountry camps my favorites are PB&J in a tortilla, salami, and a Packit Gourmet or peak refuel dehydrated meal for dinner... them things are good!

Those tablitos seem to have way more meat on them than the ones I get in Bridgeport. Where did you get them?

We get them at Azteca Denton or Azteca San Angelo.

Dang Jason them looks like some fine groceries. I'm scraping the bottom of a potted meat can with a cracker right now, wishing for a hunk of that azz-per-ragus wrapped in that bacon.

Man I love those things, I could just as easily pass on the ribeye and eat a ribeye's weight in those.
