Man. I just would like to go on record saying I am a beaner who kayaks and bank fishes everywhere, and have never broken the Texas state game laws out of respect. Even the ones I think our stupid. Ever. O and I suck at throwing a cast net, I usually give all my money to the bait shop or throw plastics.

For the record I hate seeing the rice hat wearing, cast net throwing, me sooo sorry never do again poachers around the lake edges, piers, and paddle boats as well. They will never buy a license, pay any fines once cited, or give a **** what we think of them. Cuff the repeat offenders and tote their rice steaming asses to the graybar hotel!

Just sticks in my craw.......The bird and turtle man will board my vessel in a heart beat and check me while on the water, and check my every time at the boat ramp to “satisfy their curiosity” but yet never check any of the cast netters that are within bare eyesight.......guess he don’t want spit in his fried rice on Wednesday at the buffet special or his hedges f-d up by the lawn care specialist come Saturday!

I was fishing the rocks years ago in Galveston and the folks next to me were keeping everything they caught which was mostly undersized flounder. I asked them about it, telling him those fish were illegal to keep.....he looked at me and said Jungle Rules and kept filling his burlap sack he had in the water. I guess that was a Vietnamese stringer.

Freeport jetties... folks keeping everything were also keeping juvenile rattlesnakes they were finding in the rocks one night. It wasn’t a black guy..he said “aww h*** naw” and abandoned us and went and slept in the truck.

This kind of poaching is rampant everywhere, and 9 times Out of 10 the perpetrators I see are non-English speaking folks. Thats not racial profiling or calling out a certain demographic, its fact. I don't care what color they are, in my eyes they're all trash. I hold a bigger disdain for the lack of enforcement, because the times I've called OGT and they've responded, as mentioned before the offending parties aren't issued citations because the Wardens know the guilty party won't show up in court. How do you charge someone with no identity?

I'm thinking the no identity is outstanding warrants and/or being illegals. Transport and book them into county jail. Then make them provide their name-address and pay the outstanding warrants off to bail out of jail. If they're illegals turn them over to the Border Patrol.

I know, I just tripled our jails populations, but at least process a few this way to let the perps know what's going to happen to some of them.

If you can't throw a cast net, you might want to get a DNA test.
You might not be full blooded.

Outlaw cast nets - seine nets are only allowed. This will thin this crap out quickly on all lakes. Net fishing is CHEATING ANYWAY!

Make Tilapia fishing - rod and reel only. Tilapia eat bread balls, peas, worms, wax worms and baits carp eat.

Time to fix this shiat TPWD!

The problem with that is, the Tilapia will overtake the lake if nothing is done about them. They spawn as often as every 2 weeks in warm water, year around in those power plant lakes.
