.257 Roberts cool old ammo

My parents gave me a box of various ammo they were given at a recent relatives funeral.
Evidently ole boy liked to reload and listed specs on each box of his handloads. (61 rounds of 5 various loads of the .257 stuff)


Mixed in the lot was a full box of this cool old
Remington Kleenbore Mushroom Core-Lokt ammo . A recent search of the box shows it was made between 1946-1960.
The point within a point is something I hadn’t seen before so I thought it was cool-

Very cool. Great cartridge. I have that gun myself. Best deer rifle for this part of the country in my opinion. Cool find

Have some from my FIL when I brought all of his guns to my house. He used it in a Woodmaster 760. Box has 2 missing.

I’ve got some in 35 remington my FIL gave me he said his dad had it since he was a kid. Pretty cool ammo
