No, the Belt Buckle distillery in Abilene that produces 13 Arrows. Just for kicks, I asked Tim if it was available in Lubbock and he said no, only Abilene, and they're having supply chain problems. Apparently one of the big conglomerates bought up 40 million dollars worth of wheated bourbon.

Thatís pretty cool man. I have some buddies in Abilene. Iíll see if they canít snag a bottle for me.

With the demand for high wheated bourbon, I donít doubt all the big names are buying up as much distillate as they can.

Anyway, keep up the great work with your knives!

Not really... I have not found anything that quite has the leather taste that I get so distinctively from Garrison Bros.

Anyone know how to get some Eagle Rare 17 without spending $1500? I know it’s supposed to be released this month but what are the chances of seeing it anywhere?

Well college station is where I look and the specs gets a lot of allocated but it all goes to restaurants. WB on Boonville gets the most that the general public can buy and even gets some store picks.

Total wine opened in Baton Rouge today and they didnít have too much but one of the local stores put out the EH and The Presidential.

Today for the 3rd time somebody recommended the Pikesville so I finally picked it up after 3 people telling me it was good.

This one is worth your time. Found it out in NM last month and really enjoyed it. Was surprised to find it locally the other day, so grabbed a bottle. They have a wheated version as well that I'll be trying next. Really good stuff!

I donít have any Old Elk yet but I know a little back story about it.

Donít know how true it is but the creator of otter box supposedly started Old Elk. Thereís a guy I met a couple times used to be a sales rep at T-Mobile and the otter box creator recruited him to work for otter box. He worked for otter box snd the owner took a liking to him and brought him to Colorado to help work on a bourbon company a few years ago and heís been there ever since.

Wow. Just checked and heís now the CEO of Old Elk.

Old Elk started with MGP juice. I don't think their own product has actually hit the shelves yet. I'm not a fan of the straight bourbon, but their Wheated is one of my favorites. I picked up a store pick barrel proof Old Elk wheated recently - it is amazing. I'd put it up against the best and I mean the best wheaters out there.

It's decent, def not worth the money. I'm not big on rye to start, but it's similar to the other Willet rye's I've had. Was curious so I picked it up, I don't hate it but I won't buy it again.

I've read where the non rye is a decent pour so I was curious. I am also one of the weird ones who enjoys the rye spice which I guess makes sense being that I like higher proofs anyways.

Thanks for the honest review

Found a EH Taylor small batch on the shelf in Lubbock. About $10 more than I usually like to spend, but you guys talked me into it lol. They only had one bottle out, with a tag saying one bottle per customer. I suspect they may have had more in the back.
