Let’s See Some Big 8’s

I have 3 friends who have killed 8's over 160. The biggest being 172" and the smallest was 164". All different ranches with 2 of them being low fence from south Texas and the 3rd coming from a high fenced place by Catarina 20 years ago.

I hunted outside of Carrizo Springs this year on a package hunt and one of the guys got his dream buck, a 24" wide 158" low fence slick 8.

I'll get pics of some of these bucks

I know it takes a lot for a slick 8 to 140-150. I’m curious to see some big 8’s. I’ve got a couple of studs and curious how close they are

If I knew how, I’d post the picture of my 167” 8. It’s on this forum somewhere.

Best I remember it’s the definition of the above. Both horn and body size. I believe Chew has one as well that’s similar.

This one is a crazy tall 8.

My wife passed a 150" 8 this past season, we have him at 5 last yr. Buddy has the record 8 for the ranch and muy grande 173 5/8" lord willing with all the rain we have been blessed with down south at the ranch this yr he will blow up into this kind of once in a lifetime 8. Low fence ranch
