            Another update:

Just got doctor’s reports. Very little change in levels and pressure but saturation has been relatively stable around 94 & 96 all day. They Were able to turn ventilator down very little. Respiration rate is down from 30 to 20. Normal is 12 to 16. That is good. They are waiting on a team to change to a new Central line for his IV’s.

I asked if it is normal to take this long for improvement in oxygen and pressure. He said with Covid it is.

He hopes to come down more on the ventilator tomorrow.

                Latest:

Please pray. Rod’s lung collapsed last night. He is holding steady but all priorities are now on removing fluids and stabilizing the lungs.

He was put back on paralytic drugs to rest his lungs and a larger tube was inserted in his throat to remove fluids. His saturation is 90% and 100% oxygen level.
