I went with a 6.5 Creedmoor and a 26” tube. My kids and wife want to shoot with me, and I figured this was easy enough. Hunter weighed it before I left and it came in at 6.8 lbs bare. That surprised me, I figured it would be low 7’s.

Yessir 44mm and they’re mediums. Not sure if lows would work with the bolt throw and the ocular lens of the scope, guess it depends on which scope you go with. As far as the objective bell goes you could get by with lows. Hope that helps
