Yes sir!! Prayers sent for the guide and his family. I fell out a duck boat once and watched it do circles around me. I got lucky that day and got ahold of it and got it cut off before it ran me over but I’ve worn it ever since! Most tournaments I fish require a life jacket and kill switch when the big motors engaged. I’ve gotten into the habit of an auto inflate when I get on the boat and take it off when I load back up.

Man that's sad and I hate to hear it.

Kill switch is like a seatbelt to me now, it's automatic unless I unclip it to secure cargo or something while idling out. I think teaching my boys growing up is what really solidified it for me, they got to the point they thought it was cute to call me out on it if I forgot.

I've really made an effort to do better about wearing mine. I fish alone most of the time in remote places, I need to better but I sometimes forget I'm not bulletproof any more.
