    Corvette bug finally got me

For the past several years I’ve always had the urge to get a 70’s model corvette. Finally came across one that I felt was a good investment. Ended up finding a 1970 matching numbers 454 with a 4 speed. There are a few things that could be fixed up on it, but overall I feel it is a very clean car for being 52 years old. Runs and drives great. Story is the original owner went to Vietnam and never made it back home, then sat in storage for over 30 years till the past 3-4 years when it was pulled out and put back into road worthy running order.

very clean ride .... the t-tops storage rack was not a factory option back then, as it would have been installed by the dealer through their Chevrolet Parts Dept. Those rims looks like 17" Torq Thrusters. that is definitely NICE !

          Beautiful car. Congrats.

          That story sounds very familiar....

Like Chew - did you find a letter from Private Andrew Malone in the glove box?

                  Very sweet ride!

Thanks! I do have the original rims that came with the car...they just need to be reworked some to bring them back to life.

Never knew about this song until my dad told me to listen to it...gave me the goosebumps when I played it!

That ride is sharper'n a tack. Takes me back in time to the good ol' days.
