That bug-a-salt is a GREAT idea! I'm gonna tell my grandsons to bring theirs when they come out to the house this weekend... Pappa, needs to borrow one!

Better than last year though... Had so much rain, I was night hunting crawfish with my Daisey model 37 pump!!

The electric flyswatter is a good tool for eradicating flying bugs as well. When I'm bug hunting, I take both. Put the flyswatter under my arm when I have to cock the bug-o-salt. I do the same for wasps and dirt bobbers on the porch and in the shop. One or the other usually works to at least knock them down and give me time to put the stomp on them.

Two questions, why the ring around the top? And what do you think ate that Mater?

I think lack of calcium causes weak skin

Too much water too fast will cause the maters to split like that. That hole is classic mocking bird sign!

Sprinkler head located in the garden broke. Before I could shut it off, it flooded the garden. These two are squash up top and zucchini on bottom. Do they have a chance at coming back?

Pick your tomatoes when they start blushing.
