    Skid steer implement help

We have a Cat 277 (06 model I think). We are having problems with the grappler arms on 2 of our implements. They are super slow/non functional at times. Hydraulic fluid is good, filter has been changed. The lift cylinders are working just fine, can use it all day long with a dump bucket.

Since it’s common on 2 of our implements that makes me believe it’s at the tractor somewhere.

Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?

Not high flow. There is only 1 way to plug in the implements

We have had the machine for 5 years and had no issues. Purchased it from a family friend who had it new along with all the implements. Not saying they are incompatible, but they have been used on the machine for their entire life.

Do the hoses flex when your trying to run the grapple?

No, you can see them shift slightly when they are engaged but the hoses do not have flex.

Your quick connects could be getting some wear on them and not opening the ball on the end of your hose with the male end.

The flow can be adjusted. At the control valve or with a laptop and et. Or it has internal problems. A flow meter will tell u.

Check your hydraulic tank to see if it has an air filter on the cap or right next to it. It may need to be changed. It had to be changed on my Bobcat doing the same thing.

                              My guess also.

If it's the set up I think grapple adds flow length and it's not getting it.
