    Sling stud replacement

    My front sling stud on my 45-70 occasionally wallops my finger given my hand placement and the stiff recoil.

    I don't want a sling on the rifle, so I'll likely remove the sling stud. I don't want an open hole there...is there something commercially made I can fill it with? I'd prefer something like a rounded screw vs something permanent like epoxy.

    I have used brass screws to fill unused screw holes in stocks before

      Add function to push button swivel bases with the ingenious Multi-Adaptor. Use supplied allen wrench to depress plunger and slide into base. Set includes two Multi-Adaptr

          Go to any hardware store and find the screw, bolt, etc you like in a 10-32 thread pattern. That’s what most studs are threaded.
