Stylish 45-70

This is my Henry single shot in 45-70. I'd already replaced the trigger spring and installed the Skinner peep. Finally got around to the following:

Cut the rail so the peep could stay
Epoxy bedded the rail for maximum contact (It's still removable)
Cut the hammer down about 1/8" for additional clearance
Mounted a VX-3i 2.5-8x36 in Warne low rings

I've only shot it with iron sights so no telling. Hoping to shoot it with the scope soon.

Just Federal blue box 300s for now
