I have a Golden Boy 44, If I would put a sling on it would it decrease the value of the gun ?

It’s not a collector item such as a Winchester so probably not. If you were planning on selling it one day it might be harder to find a buyer as most will want it original.

Just my guess, do what you want it’s your rifle!
