What brands should I look at? Thinking about a 7.62x39 upper for a bit more punch.

Bear Creek are nice for the price. I’ve ordered a couple of .300 blk 16” complete uppers and both are moa or slightly better. Fit and finish are great. There are slight imperfections. if you look at the feed ramps they aren’t quite as polished and are a little rough on the underside but that isn’t a problem. I’ve fired one about 500 rounds with only one FTF with really cheap ammo.

Have you considered the TexasBob brand (build your own)? cheap upper, bcg, ch, gas block, and spend a little extra on the barrel.

Thinking about selling one. What are you looking for. Think I got 40 rounds down the pipe.

I’ve had no issues with my PSA 7.62x39 upper
Also look at Radical

Look up CBC Industries Blemished. They will have uppers for $200.

I got my budget build 6.8 from them and no complaints. They have a bunch of caliber options too, even a 243 upper for ar10

Primary arms and psa is a good place to check for sales

That’s what I went with on my Grendel build. Bangs steel at 600 pretty easily.

Cannot beat Palmettos prices.
Primary Arms also has some great deals but they sell out quickly.

https://www.ghostrifles.com/ they're pretty good and have sales often enough. I got a 16" 300 Blackout from them, very happy with it.
