Size:  44.5 KB so Iíve been wanting a nice camera. My wife gave me an early Christmas gift. I donít have a clue about cameras, non what so ever. Is this a good camera to start with?

That's a fine camera. Now, start watching youtube videos, reading, researching to learn how to use it properly.

There are great books out there. Check out Understanding Exposure. It's about $18 on Amazon.


Good luck and don't be afraid to ask questions here.

Congrats!

Understanding Exposure is a great book, as is Stunning Digital Photography.

Lots of stuff out there on youtube as well. Getting off Auto mode ASAP will lead you to supreme photo happiness haha

Pics donít do it justice. Iím gonna add some old barbwire to it, a picture, the cartridge and I found this old bucks shed to it. Art at Atascosa taxidermy did everything in the pic for free!!! I give him a lot of business. Thanks again Art!!. Iíll show some better pics when itís on my sonís wall.
