I'm afraid I've hit the wall. I've got several folks lined up to shoot doe, including my grandson. I've seen pics of a couple bucks I might shoot. I'll shoot pigs but with the drought it's spotty. That said, I'm blessed with a full freezer and another out of state trip to come. Africa again in July and another Sept Missouri trip.

Plus once Bisch starts killing we'll all be batting down in the order!!!!

I was able to take my Nana’s compound, Ben Pearson Probe is what is was called and turn it into a warf bow. She had never shot a deer with it but she had shot hundreds of tournaments here at our local archery club Archers for Christ. And it was a special moment when I was able to take a doe with it.

Cool story Thunderwolf13.

My 12yr old is after his first deer with a recurve this year (shot several with a rifle and compound). He is hunting with the Martin Mamba that I used for my first archery deer 30years ago.

Hung a set over some hot persimmons and had this nice East Texas 3 point give me a 10-12 yard shot. Hard to beat it!!! Congrats to all you killers!

Glad to see all the TBH tradsters are having success! I'm finally going to have my first sit of the season Saturday morning. May dove hunt in the afternoon since it's going to be 90+ degrees and my only bow set-up currently is a Krivo.

Had an exciting night chasing pigs in belly button tall goat weeds. It was tough to tell what direction they were facing when the light was on so I had to shoot with just the moon light. 2 misses to start the night, then connected on one that wasn’t recovered, shot was way back being the hog was facing the opposite direction I thought. This hog was center punched and I had to crawl in on hands and knees to a thicket and get a follow up arrow to seal the deal. Not ideal, but a lot of fun!

This ol doe came to get a persimmon yesterday evening and gave me a great quartering away shot at 18 yards. She went 65 yards. Can’t beat it!

Haha, yeah I’m not a backwards hat kinda guy unless I’m in the woods. I’ve never been able to shoot with one on forward, not even the short bill style.
