Congrats to yall, we will miss you out West.

It’s def weird because I have been hunting different places out west since about 2008. But honestly I don’t miss it. I def like the drive better and love the terrain. Of course hunting your own place is the big bonus.

Got septic system and wifi all setup today along with getting the ring cameras and security system all set up and a few other lose ends knocked out.

I think our west Texas days are done for the near future. Now to say I’m done leasing the rest of my days, prob not but it would mainly be for the kids now if I do and prob more central Texas. Just don’t have much a desire to make 5hr drives anymore. I have my hands full at my two properties as it is.

We got moved in last weekend for the most part, did some finishing touches on plumbing etc but we are now 95% complete with cabin.





We will probably add some wall cabinets in kitchen. But for most part we are livable now. We have two “Master bedrooms” and two guest rooms, garage and restroom.

Also got food plots planted even tho it is severely dry right now. Got 3 ladder stands hung as well. Got a few pics. Still nothing extraordinary yet but lots of doe/fawns and a few bucks.
