We kicked today off in a beautiful spot!
Found several bulls and cows in a big bowl grazing while the bulls showed out for us. Laid eyes on a really nice 6x6 and made a move to try and cut them off as they headed north.
At some point the bull we were after swapped directions and headed south. We regrouped and doubled back. Saw 6 different bulls, all 5x5’s, while looking for the target bull. Took us about an hr to locate him. He was on a pond below us.
After a few cow calls and a bugle he made his way to us.
He locked up in some thick brush. Wind swirled and he left didn’t like what he smelt.
Making a location change to see why we can find.
