Oven at 375, I set the cast iron skillet in the oven as it heats up. Once everything is ready I will pull out the skillet, make sure i rub down the entire skillet with a stick of butter, pour in mix, and cook 15-25 minutes until its golden brown.

I tweaked his recipe a little bit with my own bloody mary mix, added the trinity instead of just a yellow onion, and two jalapenos. Did it with 4lbs of fresh venison ground from a tasty spike!
NO BEANS.
Also made some cajun honey cornbread to go with it.
Here is some pics! Definitely blows away my normal chili recipe.

So, did you just use one bag of chili seasoning with 4lbs of meat?
