Was able to talk Momma into bringing the whole family up for opener. We get to hunt a small 250 acres that’s surrounded by bigger tracks then has a neighborhood on the other side. Development in the area has pushed some nice deer in. We have been heavily feeding Lyssy & Eckels protein, cottonseed, and corn for a couple years.

Shot this guy at 20yds. Beautiful mule kick, double lung. Didn’t go 20! Lol

Used the Wasp Jakhammer (that Michael turned me on to) on the end of a RIP TKO.

Have another 7+ year old walking that we call High Tower. We will see if we get the drop on him!

Love that I was able to have my family there for the LDP

Beautiful deer! Congratulations!

I’ve hunted smaller properties where a lot of development was going on around it. I thought it would ruin the hunting, but it actually made it better because those deer now had to be on my property.
