Side note: I originally funded this project off a good run at the casino one night including a $20k jackpot.

Hit several good ones again while working in Oklahoma last two weeks and one on the way home for $62,500!!!

Cabin may be just a tad nicer now.

Got the sewer plumbing roughed in today and supplies dropped off. Picked up the shower insert as well.
Headed back in the morning to add some blocking under interior walls and then install the subfloor.

Will update with progress pics tomorrow.

Plumbing done and subfloor on. Added blocking under the two main interior walls.

Headed to get some food & pickup framing package.
Man it’s hot in that sun!!!

                Thanks, I’m a bit OCD.

Shut down and clean up after every day of work and make a list of supplies, tools needed, etc.

All scrap in one pile and trash picked up so it don’t blow around. Makes the next day go easier and I’m not wasting time looking for tools and supplies.

I have a 20x20 camp house there already and my buddy who’s been helping me has a camper next to it, so we keep it mowed, sprayed and weed-eated anyways.

Nice! I’ve had a 16X32 cabin design dreamed up for a few years that I hope to be able to build as well.
I’m just going to follow your build and live vicariously through it!

Looking good, after framing and roof sheathing on you will have some shade to work in, good luck.

Another $1000, this will frame all the exterior and interior walls, sitting around $5000 total as off now.

Walls up, worked solo most the day and my buddy showed up about 2pm to help stand up the back wall and finish the front wall and stand it up.
I changed the front and left windows to 3’x4’ on the fly, didn’t like the way the 3x3 looked and 4’ tall will be a little lower and easier to crawl out if ever needed.

Going to work about a 1/2 day tomorrow and knock out some interior walls and get the top plate on.
