I talked with my main engineering/welding/design guy the other day. His helper has come down with cancer. Cancer sucks btw! Say a prayer for Jeff and his family please.

It's definitely on the back burner for now.

Actually went by my buddies machine shop where its sitting, to shoot the breeze the other day. He ask if I was ready to do it. He is doing it for me when he has some slack time. It's only been two + years now, so no reason to rush into it

I agree with a directional unit would by far be the best way to go.

I might use a directional unit. I really want to put it out in the middle of our 1000x1000 yard wheat field and sit on top of it and spin in a chair They have no chance to sneak up on me out there!

teaser, great idea. would like to see some pics of the deer coming right into the feeder. That would be great for people that want to come watch them. Doont know if big boy will come in, but be pretty cool up close and personal with wildlife
