I just realized that I can't find the key/fob to my 2018 gmc. How do I go about getting one? Thank you in advance.

I would check with a locksmith, should be able make you a key if you give them your registration and DL, IDK what to do about a new fob tho

A lot of times if you can show proof of ownership the dealership parts room can cut you a new key off of your vin. Once you get it google how to program it by cycling the key. It’s usually turn the key on till the theft light goes out, turn off the key and do it again. Some can take three cycles .Comment

Buckle up and get your wallet warmed up. This is a dealer thing. They can lookup your key from the vin or if you happen to save the key codes that you got when you bought it they can use those. I suspect cutting a key and purchasing and programming a new fob will be in the $6-700 range at the stealetship.

Now if you have another fob and key already, you can order a blank fob on Amazon for thirty or forty dollars and a locksmith can make it work in your vehicle and cut the key for less than $100. I lost one of my own and did this.
