Official 2021-2022 LAKE WHITNEY & AQUILLA Hunting & Fishing Tea

    Hear ye- hear ye!!

I have been volun-told to get this ball rolling.
    So what do y’all say?

“Tea”- The scoop, news, gossip, sought after information or tidbit.

First thangs first!!!! I’m going to need everyone to slide into my DMs (Direct Message) and share the tea where-abouts of some monster bucks location in Whitney or Aquilla.
PDH and GPS pins are mandatory. [emoji6]

    All kidding aside…. Wait…. I wasn’t kidding.

HOT TEA RIGHT HERE TO GET YOUR SEASON GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!!!

I pray God keeps each of you safe, HEALTHY and blesses your season.
Every moment spent in the woods should be enjoyed, whether you're alone with nature or with closest friends.. You're in good company.

    Just a few friendly reminders,

If you pack it in, pack it out! No body likes trash in the woods or water.

I know we are all grateful for this land and opportunities to hunt and fish it!
Know the boundaries and abide by the rules! They were made for a reason.

Be courteous to our fellow hunters!

Wear your harness or orange when indicated! Safety is paramount.

If the memories you make hunting are more important than the kill then you might be a sportsman! Some of the BEST memories are made even if you don't pull the trigger.

If you can, get those kids in the woods. They don't remember their best day of watching television.

I'd like to end this official kickoff with one of my favorite verses...

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; Genesis 27:3

    YEE-YEE

If y’all ever need anything I’m just a phone call or smoke signal away.

    Love always,
    Nanners

Thanks for the great opening message.
I missed the G2G as usual.
But count on me, I’ll be in the woods!

Had one of those memories without loosing an arrow yesterday. Went out for a hog hunt and didn’t have one come close enough. I did have three deer @ 15 yds for about 20 minutes apiece though. Fun hunt, would’ve been funner if something I could shoot had come in

Anyone been out tromping around in the weeds yet? Well, maybe Ender.

W lake is .85 feet low.

It’s on the to-do list when the energy level gets back up. Fishing isn’t even on my radar currently.

                    Everbody got permits?

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Man, hunting areas are all grown up! I drove by the other day, and even the parking lots are grown over. That's ok though, may detour the less serious...

Great opener! Got my permit today and hoping my sons and i can make a few sits this season. It’s been a few seasons for me without hunting the COE but looking forward to getting back out. Good luck to everyone and stay safe!
