Who uses a monocular?

I'm thinking about getting one to cut down on bulk. I hunt close range hardwoods. Just need something to check out a deer quickly.
Who uses one?

I do. Most of my bow sets are limited to 60 yard visibility. I bought a vortex like a 6 or 8 x32. It saved a button buck last weekend

I do on occasion. Much lighter than my binos and better than my rangefinder. Mines a cheap ten power one I've got from Amazon for mounting to a scope.

I have the vortex one. I have such a hard time locating what I'm trying to see past like 50 yards. Binos I have no issue, but for whatever reason I can't locate well with my mono.

I have the same monocular. Works great for close range bowhunting. Fits nicely in a pocket of my hunting vest. :

I have a Leica rangefinder with 6x magnification that is extremely clear. All you need for bowhunting
