Well guys was able to scratch one off the hunting list, hunted in Espinola New Mexico chasing black bear. Did something different as to other then stalking or sitting and waiting on something to walk in, this was an experience I’ll never forget believe me!
Watching these dogs work and pick up a scent then trail these bears was something unbelievable to say the least, man these animals are extremely tough and strong critters, inserted 2 30-06 bullets into my bear and he still took them like a champ.
Hunted unit 45 and views were beautiful and this country is amazing, morning’s were at 45-50 degrees and by noon around 85-88 degrees, couldn’t ask for anything better. Truly blessed to do this hunt with the times we are currently at, now really debating in to do a mountain lion hunt next year!!!!
