My boy got his first deer this morning!

We were taking advantage of youth weekend and my boy got him a doe. Actually his brother was supposed to be the one pulling the trigger but he was sleeping so little brother got the green light. I picked up a 223 off of TBH earlier this year and it did the trick. I don't know who was more excited!

I hope you put some "war paint" on him. We Give every kid that hunts our family place face paint with a little blood when they kill their first deer. Some of them resist the idea at first, but they don't want to wash it off once they realize it makes them one of the hunters and not just a kid anymore.
