      I can smell it from here! Nothing better than homemade pickles! My wife puts red pepper in hers to make them spicy.

                Man, those look goooood!! A trick I learned last year when I helped my bride put up sliced pickles like that, I got out my electric meat slicer that I use to slice my homemade bacon and stacked those cukes on the tray and every slice came out the same and it was FAAAST!! I see you're whackin' em with a slicing knife... If you've got a slicer, get that sucker out!!

                      My bride has an attachment for her Kitchen Aid mixer that slices too. It works pretty good, but it's not near as fast as that meat slicer nor is it adjustable to regulate the thickness of the slices.
