All my Labs have been great loving dogs. The hard part was getting them past 4 years old where they stopped the chewing of lawn mower wheels, eating water hoses and anything else that they thought needed chewing on. After that, best dogs ever.

Oh, and they were all great at fertilizing the yard. Just had to watch you step

I now have a blue lacy and she is great. Best snuggle buddy in the world but don't like no other dog getting nowhere close to me. She hates squirrels and gives them their due. She caught this one about 30 minutes ago and chomped it good.

I've got one in the classifieds that is sweet, well trained and needs a home (and a job to do!)

Love my Rotties, but they are not for everyone.

Yep. Might as well stick your wiener in a meat grinder. The outcome on both of those will be the same.

I think she is going to be huge, but that is the one my son picked out.

            Thanks everyone for the help!

              It's been a while, like 9 years.
              Any tips on house breaking?

Yep, knew someone that had lab pups. So many recommended them, we went just to look.
Yeah, right.... son saw this one and had to have.

My recommendation would be a boxer. They are a little hyper but I think they are the best family dog right there with labs. They train easy, love children, and always aim to please there family.

Never take the family ‘just to look.’ Lol!

Rottweiler Ours is 9 years old now. She can be hard headed sometimes but she is great with kids and family that come over. She goes everywhere with me and I don't have to ever lock my truck lol. Doesn't bark very often but when she does it gets your attention.
