Wait, what?... I thought "once an 8, always an 8".

      Bad genes in my opinion
      Maybe needs some groceries too
I would rather shoot a doe and feed him another year
No reason to “cull” on 10 acres.

      YMMV

Likely a skim but I’ve been wrong before....

Let him grow…several years. See how big he gets in 4 more years.

Lots of guns and lots of outlaws out here. But he’s definitely not legal this year, either way

Easily could be the same deer. We had a fork horn buck that was on our place as a regular, when we bought this place. He was decent sized for a four point, the first year we had this place. But over the next three years, he turned into a pretty dang large fork horn, I had plans to try and get him, but naturally he disappeared last year.

Only had the camera out 24 hours. It’s really cool that there are at least 4 racked bucks running around behind my house, but obviously the genetics are awful. The only legal buck is the biggish 6, and I’ll take him this year if I get the chance. Im not interested in hunting hard behind the house, so I’m not upset that there are some funky genes. I might get the chance to shoot something weird in the next couple of years.

Really hope this guy sticks around a couple of years. If I can get him to 13 inches he’ll make a wicked euro.

Let him grow and bred and you'll have lots of culls to shoot for many years
